Distribution network

A distribution network carries electricity from the transmission network to individual consumers. It consists of transformers and lines of different voltage levels (110 kV, 1-35 kV and 0.4 kV). Transformer distribution stations are connected to the transmission system and lower the transmission voltage. Some small producers of electricity are also connected to the distribution network.
